Canada Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Welcome to Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) – your pathway to Canadian permanent residency through the various provinces and territories. The PNP is designed to address the specific economic and demographic needs of each region by allowing provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate and settle in their respective jurisdictions.

Process of the PNP Program:

The Provincial Nominee Program operates on a two-stage process:

  • Provincial Nomination: Eligible candidates apply for nomination to a specific province or territory under their respective PNP streams. Each province or territory has its own unique streams tailored to their economic and labor market needs.
  • Permanent Residence Application: Once nominated by a province or territory, candidates must apply for permanent residence through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Successful applicants and their families can then settle in the nominating province or territory.
